Kathleen Imbach

Kathleen Imbach is a doctoral student at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, currently engaged at the Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute, where work involves exploring the impact of germline variants on leukemia through various analytical methodologies, including GWAS and single-cell sequencing techniques. With a Master of Science in Advanced Genetics and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Georgia Institute of Technology, Kathleen has held research roles at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, the Gibson Lab, the Dreaden Lab, and the Georgia Tech Public Policy Department, focusing on cancer genetics and the analysis of cellular data related to pediatric leukemia and neuroblastoma, as well as research on CAR-T cell technologies.
