Martí Badal is an experienced communication professional with a strong background in scientific communication and engagement. Currently serving as a Communication Officer at the Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute, Martí develops communication strategies to advance institutional goals. As the founder of ATOM ciència fonamental, Martí promotes scientific outreach and critical thinking in experimental sciences. Previous roles include Project Manager at Smart Barcelona, Lead Communication Officer at UNESCO Chair in Life Cycle and Climate Change, and Communication and User Engagement responsibilities at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center. Martí holds multiple degrees, including a PhD in Genetics and Cell Biology, along with master’s degrees in Scientific Communication and Corporate Communication.
