Jean Schaffer

Jean Schaffer has a strong academic background and research experience in the field of medicine. Jean is currently serving as a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School since September 2020. Prior to this, they worked at the Joslin Diabetes Center from 2019, holding the position of Senior Investigator and Associate Research Director. Jean also had a long tenure as a Professor at Washington University in St. Louis from 1995 to 2019.

Jean Schaffer completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Harvard University in 1982. Following this, they pursued further education and earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Harvard Medical School in 1986, specializing in the field of Medicine.
