David Stead

David joined the Board in April 2016. He is currently Independent Non-Executive Director at Card Factory plc and Senior Independent Non-Executive Director at Naked Wines plc, where he is also Chairman of the company’s Audit Committee, and a member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committees. David has over 15 years’ experience as a director of companies in the UK retail sector, most recently as CFO of Dunelm Group plc between 2003 and 2015 and prior to that as Finance Director at Boots. David is a chartered accountant, and is also a member of the Council at the University of Birmingham.
