Vikki Spaulding has a diverse work experience in the field of scientific research. Vikki began their career at Genetics Institute, Inc., where they worked as a Research Associate I Molecular Biology from 1993 to 1996. During this time, they played a role in developing the Signal Sequence Trap and also worked on a technology to enrich full-length cDNA libraries.
In 1996, Vikki joined Inflammation as a Research Associate II Molecular Biology, where they utilized linear expression cassette technology and conducted gateway cloning training. Vikki worked in this position until 2000.
From 2000 to 2010, Vikki worked at Wyeth as a Research Scientist. Their responsibilities included developing and performing cell-based assays to assess the potency, cytotoxicity, and selectivity of drug candidates. Vikki also developed Excel/XLfit templates to enhance data analysis and reporting efficiency.
In 2010, Vikki joined Pfizer Inc. as a Scientist in the Inflammation & Immunology department. Vikki optimized and performed IL-21-dependent bioassays to test therapeutic candidate proteins. Their work was critical for development decisions, patents, and IND filings. Vikki also developed primary B cell and T cell assays to characterize therapeutic candidates.
After leaving Pfizer, Vikki joined Forma Therapeutics in 2012 as a Senior Research Associate. Vikki held this position until 2015, contributing to various research projects.
In 2015, Vikki joined Enumeral Biomedical Holdings as a Scientist I, where they worked until 2016.
Finally, Vikki Spaulding has been working at Jounce Therapeutics, Inc. since 2016. Vikki started as a Senior Associate Scientist and is currently serving as a Scientific Technical Leader.
Vikki Spaulding attended Simmons University from 1988 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.
