Sarah Vicuña is the Human Resources Manager at Journey Group. Sarah has over ten years of experience in Human Resources, and has been with Journey Group for two years.

Previously, Sarah was the Talent Strategy Manager at POET from November 2016 to November 2021. In this role, they led a talent acquisition team and implemented innovative strategies to attract, select, retain, and develop the best talent for current and future workforce needs for the entire POET footprint.

Before joining POET, Sarah was the Sr HR Manager, Talent Acquisition at Fraser from October 2009 to October 2016. In this role, they managed the recruitment, staffing, and retention programs across Fraser including healthcare, education, and housing divisions. Sarah supervised and mentored a recruitment team of 9 to support the organization's growing staffing needs. Additionally, Sarah consulted division management regarding staffing structures, change management, employee engagement, employee relations support, and other HR needs.

Sarah has a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources from XYZ University.

Sarah Vicuña obtained their Masters in Human Resources Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities and their BA in Psychology from the University of Minnesota. Sarah has a certification from SHRM in SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).
