Travis Roach has held a variety of roles in the tech and restaurant industries. In 2019, they began working as a Technical Sales Engineer for JourneyApps, where they were responsible for supporting the sales process by performing demonstrations of the JourneyApps platform and answering technical pre-sales questions from customers. Travis also built demos and application proofs-of-concept (POCs) and presented these to potential customers. Additionally, they served as an Application Engineer, developing new/existing features and providing technical support for over a dozen applications. In the same year, they began working as a QA Engineer for simuwatt, where they built an automated testing framework for an energy efficiency application and implemented and maintained scripts for API testing and data management. In 2013, they began working for Larkburger, where they held the roles of Area Manager and General Manager. As General Manager, they were responsible for hiring, managing and coaching a staff of 20+ employees in three separate chef driven restaurants across Colorado. Travis also carried out all responsibilities pertaining to the management of a fast casual restaurant, including but not limited to: hiring, training and retention of staff, P/L accountability, inventory and cash control. Travis developed and maintained strong relationships with customers, vendor reps, and stakeholders.
Travis Roach attended Colorado State University from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies and Information Technology. Travis is currently enrolled at Galvanize Inc, where they are pursuing a Web Development Immersive program.
