Lance Ellisor has had a long and varied career in the technology and entertainment industries. Lance began their career in 1992 as an Organizational Research Analyst for the City of Austin Human Resources. In 1994 they moved to the State of Texas DHS as a Systems Integration Manager. In 2001 they joined EPSIIA (Fiserv) as a Project Manager. Lance then co-founded and became CEO of Rebel Entertainment, LLC in 2003. In 2004 they rejoined Fiserv as Director of Product Management and Vice President of Software Development. In 2010 they moved to LibreDigital as Director of Product Management and Marketing. In 2012 they joined The Reading Room as Vice President of Product and Marketing, where they grew membership by 30% in one year and launched an ebook ecommerce storefront. In 2013 they joined Mitratech as Vice President of Product Management, where they managed a team of 12 product managers and was responsible for strategy and delivery across the entire product portfolio, generating $100 million of revenue and nearly $20 million of sales. In 2017 they joined Journyx, Inc as Chief Operating Officer, where they were responsible for corporate strategy, revenue growth, product, and delivery/operations.
Lance Ellisor obtained a BA in Government from The University of Texas at Austin in 1992. Prior to that, they graduated with honors from Clear Lake High School in 1988. In addition, they hold two certifications: Pragmatic Marketing Certified from Pragmatic Marketing obtained in May 2005 and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute obtained in February 2002.
