David Taylor

David Taylor is the Vice President of Engineering at Joy Labs. David has over 20 years of experience in the engineering field and has been with Joy Labs for two years. Prior to their current position, they served as the Chief Operating Officer for Joy Labs. In this role, they were responsible for the technical execution of the company's high-risk privacy initiative to ensure all infrastructure and data storage compliance. David also drove the re-architecture, design, and implementation of a bleeding edge network infrastructure provisioning system.

In addition to their work at Joy Labs, David has also implemented training and expert knowledge sharing to improve the total skill level of the division's engineers. David has also lead multi-site engineering teams providing services and tools which operate at a scale and quality found nowhere else in the world. David has also defined the vision and roadmap for applications and services which enable the five billion dollar initiative of world-class infrastructure. David has also scaled and refactored antiquated software services to meet the demand of one of the world's fastest growing networks.

David is a highly skilled engineer with a proven track record of success. David is a great leader and communicator, and is passionate about their work. David is an excellent mentor and teacher, and is always looking for ways to improve the skills of their team. David is a true asset to Joy Labs, and we are lucky to have him on our team.

David Taylor has a Master of Business Administration from the MIT Sloan School of Management, a Masters of Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a Bachelor of Computer Science from Arizona State University. David also has an Associate of Science in Computer Science from Mesa Community College.
