Oscar Prabhakar

Oscar Prabhakar has extensive work experience in software engineering, with a progression from Software Engineer to Senior Software Engineer and ultimately to Lead Software Engineer. Oscar began their career at Cashmaster International in 2008 as a Software Engineer and worked there until 2011. Oscar then joined Prime Focus Technologies, where they held several roles including Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, Technical Lead, and Technical Architect from 2011 to 2018. In 2018, they joined ProSiebenSat.1 Digital GmbH as a Media Engineer. Currently, they are serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Joyn GmbH since 2019 and recently transitioned to the role of Lead Software Engineer in December 2022.

Oscar Prabhakar obtained their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Embedded Systems Engineering from Heriot-Watt University, during the period from 2005 to 2006. Prior to that, they earned a Diploma in Audio Engineering from SAE Institute, completing their studies from 2003 to 2004. Oscar holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from St. Joseph's College of Arts and Science, which they achieved between 2000 and 2002. Additionally, Oscar completed a year of Bachelor's Degree studies in Computer Science at the University of New England (AU) from 1999 to 2000. Furthermore, in October 2019, they acquired a certification as a Certified Widevine Implementation Partner (CWIP) from Google.
