Shannon Connor Phillips, MD, MPH has a diverse range of work experience in the healthcare field. Shannon Connor currently holds the position of Chief Health Officer at Joyous, where they focus on improving operations and culture through two-way human conversations combined with powerful AI. Prior to this, they served on the Board of Directors at the National Quality Forum.

Before joining Joyous, Shannon spent time listening and learning while connecting with colleagues in health and other industries. Shannon Connor also held leadership positions at Intermountain Healthcare, including President of Intermountain Medical Group-UT and VP and Chief Medical Officer of Community (Ambulatory) Care. In these roles, they focused on value practice and quality transformation in primary care and multi-specialty medical groups.

Earlier in their career, Shannon worked at Cleveland Clinic, where they served as Physician Lead for the Office of Clinical Transformation and Associate Chief Quality Officer. Shannon Connor also served as Patient Safety Officer at Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital. Prior to Cleveland Clinic, Shannon worked at Riley Children's Health and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia as a pediatrician.
