Cesar Baez has extensive work experience in various roles related to quality management and supervision in the automotive industry. Cesar started their career at Austin Powder Company as a Production Supervisor from September 2009 to August 2011, followed by a role as Quality Assurance Supervisor from August 2011 to May 2014. Cesar then joined Key Safety Systems as a Supplier Quality Engineer from an unspecified date in 2014 to April 2017, and later became a Supplier Quality Supervisor from April 2017 to April 2018. Cesar then moved to Joyson Safety Systems, where they held positions as Quality Superintendent from April 2018 to December 2019, Quality Manager from December 2019 to October 2020, and currently as Lead Program Manager. In these roles, they have been responsible for coordinating quality engineers and auditors, monitoring key performance indicators, conducting root cause analysis, and overseeing program launches and expansion activities.
Cesar Baez obtained a degree in Ingeniero Industrial Administrador from Universidad ICN between 2005 and 2008. In 2016, they attended the Volkswagen Group Academy Mexico to acquire a degree in VDA 6.3 Process Auditor, focusing on Process Audits. Later, in 2018, Cesar pursued a GM BIQS Certification at Arkansas State University.
