Dr. Malte Krill

Vice President Global Manufacturing Engineering at Joyson Safety Systems

Dr. Malte Krill has extensive work experience in the automotive industry, specifically in manufacturing engineering and operations. Dr. Malte is currently serving as the Vice President of Global Manufacturing Engineering at Joyson Safety Systems, a position they have held since July 2019. Prior to this, they worked at TAKATA EMEA from 2015 to 2019, where they held the roles of Director of EMEA HQ Operations and Director of Business & Operations Excellence & Services. Before joining TAKATA EMEA, Dr. Krill worked at Takata Corporation as the Director of Global Continuous Improvement Process in 2014. Their earlier roles at TAKATA EMEA include Manager of Continuous Improvement EMEA, Manager of Production Engineering EMEA, and Project Manager.

Dr. Malte Krill obtained a degree in Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen from Technische Universität Darmstadt, where they studied from 1997 to 2003. Dr. Malte also briefly studied Industrial Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2000 to 2001. Later, they earned a Dr.rer.pol degree in Leadership, HR & Organisation from Universität Siegen.
