Klemen Bregar

Klemen Bregar is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Jozef Stefan Institute since April 2013, specializing in Ultra-Wideband Communications, Device-Free Motion Detection and Localization, Deep Learning, and Embedded System Development. Prior to this role, Klemen held the position of Young Researcher, focusing on Ultra-Wideband Ranging, Localization, RF Signal Propagation, and further advancements in Embedded Systems and Deep Learning. The PhD thesis, titled "Modeling the Effects of Indoor Environments on Localization with Ultra-Wideband Radio Signals," highlights expertise in RF signal behavior in various environments. Additional experience includes a role as a Research Assistant with a focus on Embedded System Development and Wireless Sensor Networks, as well as a position in R&D at MESI from January to October 2012. Education was obtained at the University of Ljubljana from 2006 to 2011.
