Michele VanAmeyden is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in laboratory management and food technology. Currently serving as Lab Manager & Food Technician at JPG Resources since January 2016, Michele oversees daily laboratory operations and manages projects focused on formulation consistency and scalability. Previous experience includes a role as an Ingredient Sourcing Specialist, where Michele demonstrated expertise in sourcing ingredients and supplier management. Prior to JPG Resources, Michele worked at Kellogg Company as an Assistant Food Technician, assisting with product development projects, and also has experience as an Elementary Teacher at Arbor Academy. Michele holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Western Michigan University and an Associate of Arts in Education from Kellogg Community College. Key skills include vendor management, problem-solving, critical thinking, and strong communication.
