Kyra Giakas

Kyra Giakas is an experienced student leader and finance professional with a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Delaware's Lerner College of Business and Economics. Currently serving as the Student Director of Peer Tutoring at the University of Delaware since October 2019, Kyra developed a free tutoring program for Economic courses, managing a team of eight tutors while analyzing program performance and overseeing financial control. Previous experience includes a summer internship at Wilmington Savings Fund Society, where Kyra handled customer transactions and assisted in audits, in addition to prior roles as a lifeguard at Hockessin Athletic Club and Skyline Swim Club.
