Mahmood Hanif

Mahmood Hanif is a seasoned financial technology executive with extensive experience in leading teams and implementing innovative solutions within major financial institutions. Currently a Managing Director at JPMorgan Chase & Co. since October 2022, Mahmood heads the Model Implementation team in the Wholesale Credit Risk QR organization. Previously, Mahmood served as an Engineering Manager at Meta, focusing on AI productivity and CI/CD tooling for machine learning models. Prior roles at JPMorgan include leading various divisions such as Innovation, RPA, and Document Digitization Technology, managing large global teams, and developing systems supporting asset management and risk reporting. Mahmood's career also includes significant positions at Bank of America, Numerix, Cygnifi, and early roles at JP Morgan, contributing to expertise in credit risk systems and automated trading strategies. Mahmood holds an MEng in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Imperial College London.
