Shreyas Shah

Shreyas Kumar is currently a Professor of Computer Science at Texas A&M University, where research focuses on Cybersecurity, Cyber Warfare, Security Standards, and Cyber Insurance, and teaching includes courses on Applied Blockchain and Program Design and Concepts. Additionally, Shreyas serves as an Advisory CISO for vCISO Services LLC and has been a member of the FBI InfraGard since August 2024. Previous roles include mentoring the US National Cyber Team for the US Cyber Games, serving as a partner on the San Francisco Economic Crimes Task Force with the U.S. Secret Service, and holding the position of Chief Information Security Officer at Deserve, along with various security-related roles at Uber and other organizations. Shreyas is pursuing a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering and holds advanced degrees and certifications in Cybersecurity Law and Policy, Leadership, and Strategy from esteemed institutions.
