Kristian Waneck has a varied work experience spanning different industries and roles. Kristian is currently the Director of Corporate IT and Commercial Platforms at JP/Politikens Hus, a position they have held since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at DR - Danmarks Radio for several years. At DR, they held multiple roles, including Head of Product Delivery - DRTV, DR LYD, and 2nd Screen Experiences, where they were responsible for developing DR's streaming services. Kristian also served as the Head of IT Infrastructure and Operations, where they designed and implemented a new organization and managed a team of over 50 employees and consultants. Additionally, they were the Head of IT Infrastructure, where they developed and implemented a Datacenter and Cloud strategy, resulting in cost savings and improved service delivery. Before their time at DR, Kristian worked as a Producer at Zero Point Software A/S and as an Instructor at The Media and Business Academy. Kristian also gained experience as a Project and Communication Manager at USSR Software and as a Writer and Editor at valgkamp.com.

Kristian Waneck began their education in 2001 at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Linguistic Philosophy. Kristian then pursued further studies at Roskilde University from 2002 to 2005 and earned a Master's degree in Communication Studies. In 2003 and 2004, they also attended Università degli Studi di Parma, focusing on Political Philosophy.

In terms of certifications, Kristian Waneck became a SAFe Agilist through Scaled Agile, Inc. in March 2019. Kristian also obtained a Certified Agile Leadership (CAL) certification from Scrum Alliance in June 2018. Additionally, they hold certifications in ITIL Foundation from AXELOS Global Best Practice. Kristian has also acquired the Scrum Product Owner certification from Scrum Alliance, although the specific dates of completion for these two certifications are not available.
