Signe Cecilie Nørgaard Jochumsen has a diverse work experience. Signe Cecilie worked as Head of Exhibition at JP/Politikens Hus A/S from August 2018 onwards. Prior to that, they worked at the Danish Architecture Center, where they held various roles including Senior Project Manager and Exhibition Project Manager. Signe Cecilie also worked as a Project Officer at DAC | The Danish Architecture Centre from March 2012 to April 2013. Before that, they worked as a Freelance Journalist at The Danish Board of Technology in 2010 and as a Researcher and Blog Editor at DAC | The Danish Architecture Centre from 2010 to 2011. Signe Cecilie started their career as an Assistant at Galerie Møllerwitt in 2008 and as an Intern at ARoS Aarhus Kunstmuseum in 2007.

Signe Cecilie Nørgaard Jochumsen pursued their education in art, architecture, and history of art. From 2006 to 2011, they attended Aarhus University and obtained a Master's degree in History of Art. In 2009, they furthered their studies at Columbia University, where they pursued a Master's degree in Art and Architecture. Upon completing their studies at Columbia, they enrolled for a summer school program at The Institute for Architecture and Urban Studies in 2010, focusing on Urban Studies.
