Rahul Vashi

Rahul Vashi is a seasoned professional with a robust background in biotechnology, currently serving as a Research Officer in the In Vitro and Genotoxicity Department at JRF Global since April 2021. Responsibilities include the execution of various OECD standard tests such as the Bacterial Reverse Mutation Test, Chromosomal Aberration Test, and Micronucleus Assay, along with cell line maintenance and documentation work. Prior to this role, Rahul Vashi worked as a Scientist at BenchBio Private Ltd. from December 2013 to April 2021, where the focus was on developing reverse genetics platforms using TILLING technology to enhance crop improvement through chemical mutagenesis. Rahul Vashi holds a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology from Sardar Patel University, completed in 2013.
