Amy Chovanec

Events Director at JSA

As the results-driven Events Director for JSA, Amy is responsible for working closely with the members of the JSA clients and community to facilitate beneficial business relationships, collaboration and engagement, for a more interconnected networking event experience.

Amy brings over 7 years of event management experience to the JSA Events team. Prior to joining JSA, Amy was the Event Producer for the Northeast DAS & Small Cell Association, spearheading member relations, sponsors, speakers, marketing, and programs to foster the development of in-building wireless infrastructure.

Amy was also the Event Director for iMiller Public Relations (iMPR), a marketing and media relations company managing events ranging from client meetings, to conferences and trade shows, to online webinars and networking receptions.

Prior to working for iMPR, Amy served as an Event Manager for Chicago Special Events Management, where she produced public events for not-for-profit organizations including popular street festivals, concerts, runs and parades, often attracting tens of thousands of participants.

Amy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation Management from Illinois State University. While there, she served as a member of the Women’s Volleyball program.

Amy resides in Chicago and enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
