Natalie Pena

Digital Marketing Manager at JSA

Natalie has worked in digital marketing for the last 6 years and in that time has become well-versed in lead nurturing with paid digital ads, email marketing, social media, and funnel strategies in order to fully support her clients with effective nurture sequences that drive results.

Prior to her role at JSA, Natalie began her marketing career as a Marketing Coordinator at a non-profit arts organization. In 2020, she founded her own digital marketing agency that specializes in serving arts organizations. At a time when the industry as a whole was closing its doors, Natalie was committed to helping arts businesses thrive.

As an entrepreneur, she learned how to think “Big Picture” which helped her serve clients beyond simply executing digital marketing tactics. By leveraging Inbound Marketing tactics, her industry knowledge, and creative thinking Natalie was able to implement innovative strategies that scaled her client's businesses during an unprecedented time.

Natalie graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree from the State University of New York at Purchase College with a Major in Arts Management and a Minor in Political Science.

While she is passionate about digital marketing, her first passion was dance. Natalie is a former dancer who began dancing at age 3 and went on to train pre-professionally at the world-renowned Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Prior to her career in marketing, she made a name for herself as a Program Director at Joffrey Ballet School and as well managing small dance companies throughout NYC. Marketing was the bridge that was able to link her passion for creativity with the disciplined, fast-paced environment she was used to.

Born and raised in Queens, NY, Natalie was always on the move. She went to a performing arts high school in Manhattan, which meant by the time she was 14 she was doing the rush hour commute on the NYC subway. So naturally, she likes to keep busy. When she’s not working, Natalie enjoys traveling, hiking, anything involving design, fun adventures with her dogs Daisy and Chloe, learning, and spending time with family and friends.
