Zahier Bagus

Zahier Bagus has a diverse range of work experience. Zahier started in 1998 as a Java Developer and Business Analyst at Discovery Holdings, before moving on to roles at DHL Express | Regional Services, where they served as an E-Commerce Manager and later a Programme Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa. At Standard Bank Group, Zahier held positions as a Portfolio Manager for Change and a Delivery Manager, leading various initiatives and managing teams. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at Standard Bank South Africa as a Scrum Master and Cloud Broker lead. Lastly, Zahier currently holds the position of Head of Project Management Office at JSE since 2019.

Zahier Bagus has a diverse education history in various fields. From 1994 to 2007, Zahier attended the University of Johannesburg and obtained a BA in Political Science and Sociology, with a focus on Politics and Sociology. In 2007, Zahier also completed a Prince2 Foundation Course at Tshwane University of Technology, specializing in Project Management. Additionally, in 2004, Zahier received a Diploma in Practical Project Management from the same institution. Furthermore, Zahier further expanded their education by completing a Course in Coactive Coaching at Coaching Developments (UK) in 2014. Zahier's interest in agile coaching led them to pursue Agile Coaching certifications, including ICP-ACC, ICP-ATF, and ICP-ENT, offered by the International consortium of Agile (ICAgile). Zahier also enhanced their knowledge in finance by attending AstroTech in 2013 for a course in Finance for Non-Financial Managers. More recently, Zahier has been enrolled at Kanban University, completing the KMP 1 and KMP 2 courses in 2021. Overall, Zahier's education history showcases a passion for political science, sociology, project management, coaching, agile methodologies, and finance.
