John Gabrielson

John Gabrielson has extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. John currently holds the position of Senior Vice President, Biosimilars & Head of Similis Bio at JSR Life Sciences since April 2022. Prior to this, they served as Senior Vice President, Analytical & Formulation Sciences at KBI Biopharma from January 2018 to April 2022. Before joining KBI Biopharma, they were the President and co-founder of Elion Labs, a contract analytical organization serving the biopharmaceutical industry, from July 2015 to January 2018. John also has a significant tenure at Amgen, where they worked as a Principal Scientist from March 2012 to July 2015, as a Senior Scientist from March 2009 to March 2012, and as a Scientist from October 2006 to March 2009.

John Gabrielson completed their education in a chronological sequence. John attended the Colorado School of Mines from 1999 to 2003, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemical Engineering. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Colorado Boulder from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Chemical Engineering.
