Ranjit Pillai has over 25 years of experience in human resources and has held various leadership positions in multiple companies. Ranjit served as the Vice President of Human Resources/EHS/IT at JSW Severfield Structures Ltd, where they developed HR policies and functions, implemented talent acquisition strategies, and hired over 800 employees. Prior to that, they were the Deputy General Manager of Human Resources at JSW Steel Ltd, where they played a key role in introducing HR initiatives focused on compensation, performance management, talent development, and value enhancement. Ranjit also worked as a Senior Manager of Human Resources at Crompton Greaves Ltd., where they established talent management initiatives and standardized HR processes. Additionally, they served as a Manager of Human Resource Development at Procter & Gamble India Ltd., where they developed and deployed learning and development frameworks and designed company brochures. At Kaycee Industries Ltd., they worked as a Senior Personnel Executive and revamped HR policies, implemented performance management systems, and introduced integrated HR Management Systems.
Ranjit Pillai obtained their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Commerce from R.J. College, Mumbai University in the years 1986 to 1988. Ranjit then pursued further education and completed their Masters in Labour Studies (M.L.S.) specializing in HR & IR at the University of Mumbai from 1992 to 1994.
