George Metsis

George Metsis serves as the Chief Financial Officer for JTI Canada, leading financial operations in a market with a 25% share, and previously held various CFO roles in Russia, Poland, Hungary, and Denmark, where GEORGE managed substantial teams and operations across multiple countries. With extensive experience in finance and operations management within the tobacco industry, George demonstrated success in navigating regulatory environments and driving market share growth. George also has a solid educational background, including advanced programs from esteemed institutions such as INSEAD and IMD, and degrees in Finance and Business Administration from the University of Exeter and the University of Hertfordshire. Prior to their tenure at JTI, George held finance positions at companies such as ZEN S.A. and SPACE HELLAS S.A. and completed compulsory military service with the Hellenic Army.
