Giacomo Merli has extensive experience in marketing and sales, currently serving as the Marketing & Sales Vice President for the Americas at JTI (Japan Tobacco International) since February 2006. Prior roles at JTI include Marketing Director for Italy and Western Europe, as well as various positions in Russia, Turkey, and the Adriatica region. Giacomo also held positions at SC Johnson as Assistant Brand Manager, IRI as a Junior Analyst, and L'Oreal as Assistant Product Manager. Giacomo earned a BA with Honours in International Business from the European School of Economics and attended The American Business School of Paris in 2003.
