Oana Trifu

Oana Trifu (Sandu) is a seasoned professional in business intelligence and data management, currently serving as the T&T Platform Support Global Development Manager at JTI (Japan Tobacco International) since December 2018. With a strong background in managing BI and Data Lake services, Oana is responsible for implementing global development standards and closely collaborating with various teams to ensure efficient solution delivery. Prior to JTI, Oana held positions at Microsoft as a Power Platform Escalation Engineer and Senior Engineer, emphasizing expertise in Power BI and Azure. Earlier experience includes leadership roles in software development and business intelligence at EXE Software, alongside programming and consulting roles in various organizations. Oana holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Databases for Business and Bachelor's degrees in Tourism and Travel Services Marketing Operations, as well as Mathematics and Computer Science.
