Miriam Ruiz Pena

Principal Scientist at Jubilant Radiopharma

Miriam Ruiz Pena has a diverse work experience in the field of research and science. Miriam started their career in 1991 as a Researcher at Centro de Isótopos and worked there until 2000. Miriam then joined the Higher Institute of Technologies and Applied Sciences as a Research Assistant Professor, where they worked until 2010. From 2010 onwards, Miriam has been associated with Jubilant Radiopharma. Miriam started as an Associate Researcher and gradually moved up the ladder, working as a Research Scientist, Senior Research Scientist, and currently holds the position of Principal Scientist.

Miriam Ruiz Pena completed their Bachelor's degree in Radiochemistry from the Higher Institute of Technologies and Applied Sciences (InSTEC) from 1986 to 1991. Miriam then pursued a Master's degree in Radiochemistry from the same institute, which they completed in 2001. In 1998, they received an IAEA Fellowship in Radioimmunoassay from Uppsala University. Miriam also obtained an IAEA Fellowship in Radiopharmacy from the Università di Pisa in 2005. Miriam completed two internships at Sapienza Università di Roma, specializing in Nanotechnology, Protein-Surfactants Interactions, and Protein Aggregation, one from an unspecified year to 2005, and the other ending in 2006.
