Anthony Cooper

Anthony Cooper is an experienced executive in the field of scientific instrumentation and advanced materials. Currently serving as Segment Operating Officer at Judges Scientific PLC since July 2022, Anthony oversees four portfolio companies, including Henniker and Moorfield Nanotechnology. Additionally, Anthony has been Managing Director at Oxford Cryosystems since July 2019, leading a prominent UK manufacturer of specialized scientific instruments. Prior roles include CEO of Watts Urethane Products Ltd and Founder of Smooth Gorilla Ltd, among others, demonstrating a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Anthony's background also includes leadership positions at 2-DTech Ltd and Versarien® Technologies Ltd, focusing on graphene and technology development. Anthony holds a PhD in Micro and Nanotechnology along with a BEng in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science from the University of Birmingham.
