Mike Young is an accomplished mediator with extensive experience in resolving complex disputes since 1989. Serving as a mediator at Judicate West since 2006, Mike specializes in intellectual property, employment, and complex business matters. In addition, Mike holds the title of Distinguished Fellow at the International Academy of Mediators, where Mike has been instrumental in leading the Pro Bono Mediation Initiative. Previous roles include partner positions at Alston & Bird LLP and Weston Benshoof et al., where Mike focused on various employment and intellectual property litigations. Mike also contributed to academia as an adjunct professor at the University of Southern California Law School, teaching Negotiations and Alternative Dispute Resolution, and was a member of the California State Bar Standing Committee on Alternative Dispute Resolution. Mike earned a JD from USC Gould School of Law and a BA in Political Science from UC Santa Barbara.
