An accomplished general counsel and company secretary with over 20 years' experience, Yien is focussed on getting the deal done right and to find a way to say "Yes".
Starting her career as a credit analyst at Macquarie Bank, Yien trained with Herbert Smith Freehills before becoming a managing associate at Linklaters in London. She has held senior legal roles at Deutsche Bank, NAB and more recently as General Counsel and Company Secretary at Growthpoint Properties Australia Limited. Yien currently serves as a non-executive Director with YWCA Housing and YWCA National Housing.
Yien holds an LLB (Hons), BCom and BA from the University of Adelaide and has recently completed the AICD Company Directors’ Course.
Yien also has long term aspirations to practice more yoga, to reacquaint her knees with running and to read more books.
