Pier F.

Pier F. has a diverse work experience history, starting as a Senior Architect and Tech Lead at Joost, a video streaming startup. They focused on scaling and making the back-end platforms fault-tolerant. Pier then moved on to be a Reliability Architect at Ning, where they designed and implemented a cloud management infrastructure solution. They also worked as an Associate Director at UBS Investment Bank and as the CTO at Gilt Groupe Japan, leading the technology team and implementing a new e-commerce platform. Pier also founded their own consulting company, USRZ.com, where they advised startups and established companies on building technology teams. They served as an Engineering Manager at Groupon, leading the migration to a microservices-based platform in Tokyo. Pier then became the CTO at Leomo, a Japanese startup in the cycling industry, focusing on restructuring the technology team and implementing a hardware and software solution. They also served as the Interim CTO at Relocately GmbH, where they outlined the technical vision and architecture for the company. Lastly, Pier is currently the Head of Engineering at Juit.
