Umang Papneja

Umang Papneja is the Managing Director and CEO of Julius Baer India since August 2022 and previously served as Executive Director and Chief Investment Officer at IIFL Wealth from September 2009 to July 2022, where strategic guidance for investment decisions across various asset classes was provided, along with a focus on product innovation and the launch of several Alternative Investment Funds in India. Prior experience includes serving as Director and Head of Investment Advisory for Societe Generale Private Banking from September 2005 to September 2009. Umang Papneja holds a Master of Management Studies in Finance from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, obtained between 1997 and 1999.
