Marianne Solstad

Marianne Solstad has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Marianne started their career as a Journalist and Photojournalist at Nordstrands Blad, a local newspaper in Oslo, Norway. After that, they worked at FINN.no, where they held various positions such as Product Manager for Shopping and Product Manager for Quality and Content. At FINN.no, they were responsible for optimizing the user experience, performing user testing, and collaborating closely with different departments.

Following their time at FINN.no, Marianne worked at OBOS as a Product Manager for the Nabohjelp app, where they implemented lean startup principles and built a startup culture within Norway's largest property development company. Later on, they joined Adventus.io as a Product Manager, and then moved to BIG W, where they worked as a Product Manager within Digital Experience and Convenience. At BIG W, they led the implementation of a CRO strategy and continuous improvement approach to enhance the user journey on the website.

Currently, Marianne is a Product Manager at Jumbo Interactive Limited, where they are in charge of product management responsibilities. Overall, Marianne's work experience reflects their expertise in product management, user experience optimization, and collaborative teamwork.

Marianne Solstad's education history includes a Bachelor of Journalism (BJ) degree from The University of Queensland, which they obtained from 2001 to 2004. Following that, they pursued a Master of Business (MBus) degree in International Business from The University of Queensland and completed it from 2004 to 2005.

In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Design thinking certificate from Startuplab Oslo, Norway in November 2018. Marianne also acquired the Google design sprints certification from Netlife Design Norway in September 2018. In 2010, they completed the Innovation astronaut course at Stig og Stein Idélaboratorium. Additionally, they obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from ProgramUtvikling AS in October 2009.
