Ahmed El-Gamal

Ahmed El-Gamal has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ahmed started their career as an intern at NAGA Architects in 2002 and later worked as an intern again in 2007. Following that, Ahmed held the position of Marketing & Design Manager at Living D'ART from 2007 to 2010. Ahmed then moved on to HAYATI Healthcare, where they served as a Marketing & Sales Manager for the entire year of 2010. In the same year, Ahmed also worked as a Marketing Consultant at Red Bull. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Digital Account Manager at Impact BBDO, Impact Proximity & Impact Porter Novelli. Ahmed subsequently became a Digital Director from 2014 to 2015 and then progressed to become the Regional Head of Social Media from 2015 to 2017. In 2017, Ahmed joined Emaar as the Marketing Director for the Corporate, Destinations & Properties division. Ahmed transitioned to MetLife in 2019, where they assumed the role of Head of Retail Marketing until 2021. Recently, in 2021, Ahmed was appointed as the Senior Director of Marketing - Islands & Resorts at Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts.

Ahmed El-Gamal holds an Executive MBA degree from IE Business School, which they completed from 2022 to 2033. Ahmed also completed a program called "Mastering Design Thinking" at MIT Sloan School of Management from 2023 to 2024. Ahmed previously attended the American University of Sharjah from 2003 to 2008, where they earned their Bachelor of Architecture degree and minored in Design Management and Urban Design. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at the International School of Choueifat from 1995 to 2003. Ahmed's earliest education was at Campion School from 1992 to 1995. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including "Certified in Hospitality Business Acumen" from HSMAI and "Finding Inner Peace to Manage Conflict" from IE University, both in 2023.
