Melanie Riddle has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Melanie started their career in 2005 as a Customer Service Team Leader at Ski Dubai. In 2007, they joined Nakheel as a Customer Feedback Supervisor and worked there until 2010. Following that, Melanie joined Hertz, where they served as a Branch Manager and later as a Managed Services Transportation Manager. Melanie worked at Hertz until 2015. Currently, Melanie holds the position of Director of Operations at Jumeirah Group / Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts, a role they have been in since January 2021. Prior to this role, they served as a Cluster Transport Manager at the same company.

Melanie Riddle attended eCornell in 2018 and obtained a certificate in Change Management. Melanie also studied Change Leadership at eCornell in 2018. In 2021, they enrolled at The University of Edinburgh and focused on History and Philosophy of Science and Technology. Prior to this, from 1997 to 2001, Melanie attended DGHS Durban Girls High School, where they earned an Exemption Pass with a Distinction in History along with studying subjects such as Maths, Biology, English, Afrikaans, and Drama. In 2018, they participated in a program called GBA Champions for Conscious Change-Champions for Conscious Transformation™ at Gita Bellin & Associates.
