Muhammad Farooq

Muhammad Farooq has worked in various finance-related roles in the hospitality industry. Muhammad is currently the Director of Finance at Jumeirah Group / Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts, a position they have held since June 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Finance at Jumeirah Royal Saray Bahrain from September 2019 to April 2021. Farooq also held the role of Director of Finance at Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort Oman from June 2018 to August 2019. Before that, they worked as an Assistant Financial Controller at Anantara Hotels, Resorts and Spas from November 2015 to May 2018. Farooq also served as a Chief Accountant at Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara Abu Dhabi from September 2012 to November 2015. Prior to their tenure at Qasr Al Sarab, they worked as a Financial Accountant at Millennium Hotel Abu Dhabi from April 2010 to September 2012. Farooq began their career in the hospitality industry as an Accounts Payable / Paymaster at Sheraton Abu Dhabi Hotel & Resort from March 2008 to March 2010. Muhammad started their finance career at Holiday Inn Sharjah as an Accounts Payable professional, working there from 2006 to 2008.

Muhammad Farooq completed their graduation in Accounting and Commerce from the University of the Punjab between 2002 and 2004.
