Varghese Pylee

Varghese Pylee has extensive work experience in the hospitality industry, primarily in finance roles. Varghese is currently the Senior Director of Finance at Jumeirah Group / Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts, a position they have held since December 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Hilton Hotels & Resorts for over a decade, starting in 2007 as the Country Director of Finance for 9 hotels in the northern UAE. In this role, they achieved over AED 600 million in revenue per year and founded a state-of-the-art shared service center. Varghese also held the position of Regional Financial Controller at Hilton Hotels & Resorts from 2007 to 2011. Before joining Hilton, they worked in various finance roles at Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Hotel & Resort, Hilton Jeddah, Hilton Dubai Jumairah & Hilton Creek, Hilton Beach Club Dubai, and Hilton Fujairah.

Varghese Pylee attended Mahatma Gandhi University from 1978 to 1980 and earned a B.Com degree in Commerce.
