Peter Lu

Peter Lu is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Jumpcut, a company that creates captivating online courses for entrepreneurship and business skills. Prior to their current role, Peter worked as an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company, a top-3 global business consulting firm, where they helped management make big decisions on strategy, operations, mergers & acquisitions, technology, and organization. Peter also spent time as a Project Associate at Innovations for Poverty Action and as a Sales and Marketing Associate at Abrams. Peter has a passion for helping people develop the skills they need to turn their passions into successful businesses. Peter is a Y Combinator-backed company (YC S16) and is dedicated to making sure Jumpcut remains at the forefront of business education.

Peter Lu attended Yale University from 2007 to 2011, graduating with a B.A. in Psychology with Distinction in Major and Magna Cum Laude. Peter was also involved in various activities and societies on campus, including the Yale Daily News, Asian American Students Alliance, Prison Education Project, Yale-New Asia Undergraduate Exchange, Environmental Studies Summer Grant, FOOT, Psi Chi, and Phi Beta Kappa. After graduation, Peter Lu went on to participate in the Y Combinator program in 2016.
