Software Testing Engineer at Jumpshare

Javaria Farhan has worked in the field of software engineering and mentoring since 2009. Javaria began their career as an Intern at Ufone in 2009. In 2012, they became a Student's Mentor for ROOTS International School System, Beaconhouse School System, City School and Scholanova. During this role, they provided daily academic learning and training sessions with 20-25 students between the ages of 14-18, with an emphasis on Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science. Her students demonstrated an improvement of 80% in their annual examinations result. In 2014, they joined Jumpshare, Inc. as a Software Testing Engineer, where they lead the Web Testing effort on Development and Production environments, tested Desktop Applications on Mac OSX and Windows Operating Systems, and was the test lead of Jumpshare IOS application and Mobile website. Javaria also had experience with QA methodologies, requirement analysis, writing test cases based on system requirement specifications, and managing the team's work flow.

Javaria Farhan began their educational journey in 2006 when they attended Bahria College, Islamabad and earned their FSC in pre-engineering in 2008. Javaria then attended National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) from 2008 to 2012, studying Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications.
