Tim de Groot

Tim de Groot has worked in various legal roles since 2011. Tim began their career as a Medewerker kanoverhuur at Kanoverhuur De Rijnstroom in 2011. In 2014, they worked as a Drager at Ferentes B.V. In 2015, they participated in the Price Media Law Moot Court Competition at Oxford University, and was also a Lid Redactiecommissie and Lid Kascommissie at Studievereniging voor Informatierecht. In 2017, they were a Student Intern at both DLA Piper and Bird & Bird. Tim also worked as an Employee Bank Levy Department at Rabobank in 2018. Finally, they have served as Legal Counsel at Payconiq since 2018 and at Juni since 2021.

Tim de Groot obtained their VWO Diploma from St-Gregorius College in 2011. Tim then attended the University of Amsterdam from 2011 to 2015, where they earned their Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.). In 2016, they participated in an exchange program at the Cardozo School of Law. Tim returned to the University of Amsterdam to complete their Master of Laws (LLM) in Information Law, which they completed in 2017. In March 2022, they obtained their Certified Information Privacy Professional - Europe (CIPP/E) certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals. Tim also holds an International Baccalaureate B.
