Viri Valle Lae

Viri Valle Lae's work experience begins in 2008 with internships at various law firms, including Thommessen, Haavind, Simonsen Advokatfirma DA, Advokatfirmaet Grette DA, and Wikborg, Rein & Co. In 2009, they become an Associate and Scholarship Holder at Haavind.

From 2011 to 2019, Viri works at DNB as an Attorney At Law, Consultant in the CEO Office, and Associate. In 2019, they join Handelsbanken as a Lawyer and Legal Counsel until 2021.

In 2021, Viri's career takes their to Eftir, where they become a Board Member. Later that year, they join Neonomics as a Senior Legal Counsel. Viri is then promoted to Deputy General Counsel in 2022 before assuming their current role as General Counsel in 2023.

Throughout their career, Viri has specialized in various legal areas, such as business and product development, IT projects, payment services, data protection and privacy law, digitalization, and general contract law. Viri is also experienced in open banking and digital financial services (FinTech). At Neonomics, they serve as an advisor and member of the management group.

Viri Valle Lae holds a Master's degree in Legal Studies, with a specialization in General Legal Studies, from the University of Oslo (UiO). Additionally, in April 2021, Viri obtained a certification in Kommunikasjon og lederskap (Digitalt 8 uker) from Dale Carnegie Training Norge.
