Asheesh Advani

Asheesh Advani is a board member and chair emeritus at Prosperity Now. Asheesh was also the CEO of Virgin Money USA, Inc. from 2007 to 2009. Advani has over 25 years of experience in the financial technology industry.

Asheesh began their career at Thomson Reuters where they served as Vice-President and GM on projects related to digital innovation, financial advisory services, and new media markets. Advani then went on to become the CEO of Covestor from 2011 to 2015.

Under their leadership, Covestor became widely regarded as a pioneer in bringing separately managed accounts (SMAs) online in a transparent marketplace. Using technology that replicates trades and resizes allocations, the company has democratized access to investment management and enabled clients at all levels of wealth to have online managed accounts and comparison shopping for money managers.

In May 2015, Covestor was acquired by Interactive Brokers (NASDAQ: IBKR) and re-branded as Interactive Advisors. Advani currently serves as a board member at Junior Achievement.

Asheesh Advani completed their undergraduate degree at The Wharton School, where they studied economics and finance. Asheesh then went on to complete a Master of Science or Doctor of Philosophy in Economics for Development or Management at the University of Oxford.
