Delane Heldt

Delane Heldt has extensive experience in strategic scaling and operations, currently serving as Vice President at the American Medical Association since 2007. Heldt has progressed through various roles within the organization, including Director positions focused on improving health outcomes and program management. In addition, Heldt has been actively involved with the Junior League of Chicago since 2004, holding multiple leadership positions, including President from 2018 to 2020. Prior experience includes management roles at Orbitz/Travelport and Discover, as well as consulting positions at Baker Robbins & Company and TechLaw, Inc. Education includes a BA in Speech Communications from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and post-baccalaureate certificates from Roosevelt University.

Junior League of Chicago

Founded in 1912 by Lucy McCormick Blair Lynn, we reach out to women of all races, religions and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to voluntarism. Our 1,500 members donate 200,000 volunteer hours each year to build better, healthier communities in the Chicagoland area. Together, we empower 2,100 at-risk women and children each month through mentoring, education, advocacy and 15 on-going community projects.
