David Cheriton

Dr. David Cheriton serves as Chief Data Center Scientist. He has more than 40 years’ experience in software, distributed systems and networking, including over 35 years as Professor of Computer Science at Stanford University. He has founded several companies in the networking space, seed funded a number of significant companies including Google, VMware and Arista and served as chief scientist and technical advisor in several companies. Prior to Juniper, he was co-founder, chief scientist and CEO of Apstra, which was acquired by Juniper.
