Derrell James

Derrell James is the EVP of Global Services at Juniper Networks. Prior to joining Juniper, they were the SVP of Global Services and Solution Engineers at RingCentral from March 2017 to December 2018. In this role, they were responsible for all solutions engineers, professional services, customer success, and customer care/support for the company. Derrell was also responsible for sales of global services, developing offer strategies and offers, and overseeing the customer experience.

From March 2014 to January 2017, James was the SVP of US Sales/Global Strategic Services for Avaya. In this role, they were responsible for building global professional and managed services as well as leading the US sales team for all lines of business including voice, data, and contact center solutions.

Prior to their role at Avaya, James served as the CEO of Optum360° from March 2013 to March 2014.

They are on a team with Sharon Mandell - SVP & CIO, Thiam Guan Ang - SVP, Asia Pacific, and Raj Yavatkar - SVP & CTO. Derrell James reports to Rami Rahim, CEO.
