Anya Malyarenko

Data Scientist at Juno Diagnostics

Anya Malyarenko has been working in the field of data science since 2011. Her first role was as a Taxonomy Manager at Elsevier in 2011, followed by a Metrology Software Design Engineer at ASML in the same year. In 2011, they also began working as a Postdoc at the University of California San Diego, where they were a lead researcher in Analysis of time series and developed methods to identify and remove periodic components from real data sets. From 2015 to 2021, Anya worked at Vbios as the Director of Data Science department. In 2018, they also joined the University of California San Diego as a Data Scientist and Scientific Researcher. Finally, in 2020, Anya began working as a Data Scientist/Consultant at PREDICTIVE BIOLOGY, INC., where they were responsible for single cell analysis and image-based morphological profiling.

Anya Malyarenko attended Tomsk State University from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained a PhD in Physics and Mathematics. Anya also obtained a Master's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Tomsk State University between 2002 and 2010. In 2015, Anya Malyarenko completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance, General from the University of California, San Diego - Rady School of Management. In 2019, they attended UC San Diego for a course in Amazon Web Services.
