Vivek Ys

Vivek Ys is currently the VP of Data Science at Jupiter. Before that, they were with Amazon for six and a half years, where they served as Chief Architect Contextual Advertising. In this role, they built the next generation Contextual Advertising platform using classical NLP, machine learning & deep learning. Vivek also spent two years at Flipkart.com as a Senior Software Engineer. At Flipkart, they worked on highly scalable fault tolerant distributed system for caching systems (built using memcache, membase, redis), message passing systems (built RabbitMQ, Kafka), & Notification Service.

Vivek Ys studied computer science at Visvesvaraya Technological University and then did a postgraduate program in reinforcement learning at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc). Vivek has also completed four Coursera courses in related fields, including convolutional neural networks, deep neural networks, and sequence models.
